I am not much of a Vettel fan (in fact I can't stand the RB Team and Dr. Marko), but this was actually pretty cool. Best case scenarion would be Victory Donuts becoming a standard way of celebrating after the race.

In a more simple and less butthurt time, this would be encouraged and loved by everyone but the FIA is run by people with sticks up their asses plain and simple.

The thing I really liked about Vettle was that he wasn't an ass. He just showed up, worked hard, won, and went home. Sowing off like that is making my support start to wane

Last weekend (after he got his fine) I asked what FIA would do if Vettel keeps doing donuts after winning a race. I guess we'll get the answer now.

Tons of respect to Vettel for doing this, the regular "hand in the air, screaming in team radio" and podium champagne celebration aren't good enough for motorsport in my view.

Doing a burnout isn't showing off and I'm honestly glad to see more a human side of him insofar as his enjoyment is concerned; it's nice to be reminded that he isn't a robot every once in a while.

As I understood it, the fine was for not bringing his car to the winner's circle and not for the act of doing donuts. This time he brought the car to the winner's circle after doing donuts so we'll see what happens.
I'm not a fan of Vettel, but let the kid do some donuts after winning the FIA world championship for god's sake! Everybody loved it and it humanizes him a bit. Bernie probably thinks it is too "nascar" so hit him with the fine and told him it was for not bringing the car to the winner's circle because he doesn't yet have a rule specifically banning donuts. Like I said before, we'll see what happens to him this time.
